Bill, co-managing partner and co-founder of Bender, Weltman, Thomas, Perry & Co, PC is a problem-solver for his clients. Through his careful listening and his ability to see things from a unique and clear perspective, he is able to offer creative, workable solutions in even the most complex or delicate situations.
Bill conveys technical solutions in a non-technical way. He focuses on future progress using past performance as a planning tool. In business acquisitions or through marital dissolutions, Bill and the firm's team of bright, committed people, help clients realize positive results and achieve their financial goals.
Bill attended both Stanford and Washington University earning his BSBA, and University of Missouri - Columbia for his Master of Accountancy. On his CPA exam, he ranked within the top 70 in the nation and ranked #1 in Missouri earning him the Gold Medal awarded by the Missouri Society of CPAs.
Bill worked with a large St. Louis CPA firm before starting his own firm in 1977, and co-founding Bender-Weltman in 1982.
In 2005, Bill earned his Series 7 license and his Series 65 license for which he is now an Investment Advisor Representative. In 2007, he earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation awarded by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
